About Me: After a career in banking, marketing and consulting I moved to Key Largo in August 2009 to pursue my passion for underwater photography. I have the priviledge of being mentored by one of the most widely published underwater photographers in the world, Stephen Frink, as I become established in the field. As a resident of the Florida Keys, I am aware of the fragility of the reef ecosystem and have the opportunity to work with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) as a documentary photographer. In December 2010 I won the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park 50th Anniversary Celebration underwater photography contest. In January 2011, as a result of the exposure through the contest, I was offered a freelance contract to write the scuba diving column for The Reporter, a leading local newspaper in the Florida Keys. The web version of my biweekly scuba diving column may be seen at www.keysnet.com/diving
