About Me: I am a stroke survivor . . . a stroke victor. I had a stroke in 2001 which left me paralyzed and speech impaired. Needless to say, because of that I no longer teach. Through the grace of God and a lot of consistent work (I like to say, "I prayed as though it depended upon the Lord and worked as though it depended upon me"), I now am able to use my once paralyzed arm and my speech has much improved. I work out on a consistent basis and now I am able to do push-ups, planks, and I am able to lift weights with both arms. Jesus Christ, my personal Lord and Savior.
My husband and I have two grown married children and 4 precious grandchildren. Bill and I are best friends and we hunt mule deer together in Eastern Oregon each October. Bill has been there beside me and supporting me, when I went through my stroke and my rehab.
