The one positive innovation to emerge from 2005's Hurricane Katrina was SafetyTrac. Born out of the need to track and locate hurricane relief trucks, our founders developed the software necessary to utilize existing GPS technology in these efforts. The commercial application of this service became immediately apparent and work began to make the system available to various commercial clients. As the program developed, it became obvious that there was a need in our society to protect children, pets, loved ones and valuables and SafetyTrac would soon meet that need.
